If you consume more calorie than you need, whatever method you will follow would not work. So please try to lmit your food intake, otherwise you will never be able to flatten your stomach.

If you are trying to work on belly only and expecting you will have a flatten stomach, I will advice you to read more on spot toning, because unless you will reduce fats all around your belly, you can never have a flat stomach.

While we know lot about fat storing foods, there are some foods which can help you burning your fat. You may read many times that there are foods which burn fat! Meaning - it will not produce any calorie, rather it will burn fat. But that is not what actually happen. When they say fat burning foods, don't think those foods burn fat instead of producing calorie. Actually they produce calories, ofcourse! But those foods increase metabolism in your body, so in a way once you consume those foods, your body burns more fat that it does for other regular foods.

Now instead of giving you a list of best fat burning foods, I want to give you some idea which foods can be fat burning foods. But before that let's discuss, what we mean by fat burning foods.

Yes, they do. Many places you will read about fat burning foods. You would be happy to find some foods, some may think, which you can eat as much as you want and then you will burn also calories or fat. No, that is not the actuall case. You like to know the truth? Truth is, there are some foods, which will increase your metabolism, so if you eat more of those foods (fat burning food!) they will  perform few functions in your body. Those functions are - increasing metabolism, decreasing insulin secretion, so eventually you should lose fat. But if you eat a lot of those foods, it will not be helpful, because then it will produce lots of calories, so however fast is your metabolism, still your calorie balance will be negative ( which means you consume more calories and your body spend less calories) which will ultimately increase fat in your body. 

Eating more those will not help!

Let me explain it another way. You know our body spends calories each day. Suppose your body spends 2400 calories each day, when you don't do much physical activities. Let me assume you are eating 1900 calories foods each day. So you are spending extra 500 calories a day ( which means each week you will lose 1 pound of fat, to know the calculation read my calorie calculation pages.) Now if you replace your regular food with fat burning foods, then you may expect that your body would spend 2800 calories from the same activities. So if you still eat 1900 calories foods, you are now spending extra 900 calories ( 2800 -1900=900), so you will lose more fat in that week. But if you like the fat burning foods too much and eat more, and your calorie consumption reaches to 2800. Now since you eat more fat burning foods, we expect that your body will spend more calories too. Let's assume that now body is spending 3000 calories. So though you are still spending extra 200 calories a day, you are  loser. So don't eat too much fat buring foods, rather just replace your regular foods ( some of which are already fat buring foods) with fat burning foods.
